Dresden Files canceled, Painkiller Jane continues to annoy.

The Dresden Files leaves, not with a magic induced bang, but with a cowardly SciFi Wire whimper.

What can the people at the SciFi Channel be thinking? Why would they scrap one of the few good shows they have? The Dresden Files was a great show. Painkiller Jane is crap, why is that still around? That’s the show they should get rid of if they need more room in the schedule for Stargate: Miami.

Just when it looked like they’d wised up too. They were starting to play some great shows like Doctor Who, Dresden Files, and Ghost Hunters. They really seemed to be making some good decisions. Well, other than Painkiller Jane and ECW wrestling, but they’ve been making bad decisions for a while now and recovery takes time. I was really hoping things would turn around on the SciFi Channel. Once again I was wrong.

What shaved monkey is making these choices? Wrestling on a science fiction network? That’s almost as stupid as a cartoon station playing crappy live action shows. Oh wait, Cartoon Network has that covered.
