This sort of misdirection is pretty common in a lot of comics. Someone you think is a hero turns out to be a villain. Someone who time travels to the past and meets their childhood hero winds up <i>being</i> that hero. I read a lot of comics like that. *L* Thanks. *L*

I think getting this one right has more to do with all the comics I read when I was younger than it does with TV. This sort of misdirection is pretty common in a lot of comics.
