Dollhouse Redone

Fine. I guess I can’t ignore it anymore. A couple of days ago, Joss Whedon posted a blog – available to read in its entirety here at Whedonesque – which discusses Dollhouse. I wanted to just ignore it in the hopes that it would go away. Like, if I close my eyes, you can’t see me. That sort of thing. Unfortunately, its all true and its not going anywhere.
Joss has to write and shoot a new pilot for Dollhouse. Why, you may ask, is this a problem for me? Why do I want it not to see me? Well, because I recall a very similar situation, just a few short years ago, when Fox (I believe they are actually part of the Evil League of Evil) asked Joss to write and shoot a new pilot for Firefly. *sob* OK, I’m good. But you do see where I’m going, right? This has already happened and it wasn’t good that time. Joss is insisting that this is not the same thing and I want to believe him. But I would have rather not even known about it. Not at all. I would rather he had lied about it or not brought it up at all. Or, oh god, what if he is lying about it? *sob* Hold me.
No, no, I’m good. I’m really, really good. I’m just getting so excited about Dollhouse. And I’ve been hurt before, you know?
