Grrrr arrrrghhhh! I wish I could be one of those reviewers that has lots of insight. Or at least someone who can recap an episode of Dollhouse and make it exciting. I don’t want to just keep saying rah, rah, rah, sis boom bam, we love Joss, he’s our man. I just can’t seem to help myself.
Part of the reason that I wish I could make my reviews more exciting is because more people should be watching this show. The ratings should be double what they are, and not just because last night’s episode, “Stage Fright,” was written by Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen of Dr. Horrible fame. You know I’m not going to spoil you, cause people don’t always like that, but I think this was the best episode yet.
In my post last week, I meant to mention a couple more things and then I got to waxing lyrical (for that read, blathering on and on) and completely forgot.
I have a word or two to say about ratings generally, and, in particular, about Dollhouse’sratings.
Friday night’s ratings always suck. Being on TV on Friday nights is like the kiss of death. Most people go out on Friday nights. Look, I’m a total geek with no life whatsoever and even I’ve been known to go out on the occassional Friday night.
